‘Emotional Intelligence is the key to both personal and professional success’
According to the Ph Daniel Goleman in his 1996 book, of the same name.

People with a higher level of Emotional Intelligence:

and Relationship Management.

This is how aware you are and how accurately you can assess your emotions, related to both, yourself and with others.

Self-awareness can be defined as conscious knowledge of one’s own character, feelings, motives and desires.
Also, the strengths, weaknesses, values and drivers and understanding their impact on others.
Self-Management: is defined as the ability to take responsibility for one's own behaviour and well being. This involves controlling or redirecting our unsettling emotions and Is a key skill for a person with a high level of EI.
Empathy: Empathy is the ability to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and understand how they may feel or react.
Social Skills/Relationship Management: The human or the interpersonal skills are the skills that present the person’s ability to interact, work or relate effectively with people.
